Ivan Giannini

I was Born in Turin (north-west of Italy) on January 11th, 1979. I was introduced to music at the age of 8 by my grandfather who tried to teach me the Accordion, but I really started my adventure at 13, shocked by Iron Maiden’s “Be quick or be dead” clip. I thus started playing Guitar with numerous school bands in one of which I was forced to sing since the original singer left to dedicate time and efforts to his aerobic essay and that's how I begun my journey. I'm a self educated singer and still not too much interested in the technical aspect of singing. As a singer I try to apply what maestro Mogol (the most succesful Italian songwriter since the 60's) taught me when I was studing at his music school just when I was 21 years old: “Quality lies in details; details depend upon hard work and endless, constant dedication; dedication means to find out the naked essence of the truth we’re trying to express in our art; Truth means simplicity; Simplicity means avoid deceit and falsity.” Along with the result, every note I try to sing or play or write is inspired by this deep and clever lesson. I sing in various tribute bands: Holy Smokers (Iron Maiden), Flash of the Blade (Iron Maiden), Sin City (Acdc), La Gazza Ladra (Marillion), Trilogy (Malmsteen) I’m also singer in these bands: Elegacy (prog metal), Euthimia (italian prog rock), Heartek (sid rock). I love The Beatles , Iron Maiden, Helloween (from "Pink bubbles go ape" to "Better than raw"), Pink Floyd, Yes, Gentle Giant, Marillion, Porcupine tree, Devin Townsed, Cannibal Corpse (ooooooh yes!!!), Lucio Battisti, Enrico Ruggeri and many many others. I support Greenpeace and Emergency. I love people who care about our kids future. Please try to do something for our planet. Cheers.

Enrico Pistolese

Enrico "Henry" Pistolese born in Velletri, a little city near Rome on july 5th 1982.He changes a lot of cities until he comes in Milan where he knows his real passion for music. During the secondary school he begins listening hard rock music, so bands like Guns n Roses and Kiss become his first musical landmark and he begins to play the classic guitar in order to reproduce songs like "Don't cry"," Patience"," Civil War" ( G.N.R)," God of Thunder" and" I was made for loving you" (Kiss) During the advanced studies, Henry finally knows Heavy metal and decides to learn to play electric guitar despite his father had given him as a Christmas present a little keyboard, maybe trusting in a future great pianist in family. But.."No ! I wanna play that fucking guitar !!! grrrr " And so it was. So Henry in 1997 bought his first guitar...Bleah ! totally horrible! a black and white Charvel with an horrible sound, but however it was enough to learn the first steps of heavy metal. The 1998 is a special year: Henry funds the band called, after an alcoholic night, Derdian and he begins to write the first songs of band, The following Henry's years are indissolubly tied to the band and you already know them, however if you are interested in some other particulars of my life, please don't hesitate to ask me... I'll explain them to you after any concert drinking a fresh beer !

Marco Garau

Marco Garau - Keyboard player and composer - was born on November 12th, 1978 in Milano, Italy. He studied piano since he was 10 at the music school (civic center) in Arese. He started to compose songs at 12 with a mix of rock and classical influences. At the age of 15 Marco joined in his first rock band called KF with Andrea Catera & Massimiliano Pitaro. After some musical experiences among which "Extinthoria" ant other bands he started to discover the metal music and decided to make some compositions mixing the classical music and metal influences. In 1999 Marco joined in a Prog-Metal band on the way of Dream Theater but this project finished after 1 year. In 2000 Marco joined in his first power metal band called "Eternal Glory" and immediately later was contacted by Marco Covelli for a test with Derdian: the story began... In the meantime Marco also joined in a Rock-Band called Iceone where he played for 2 years recording a demo-cd.

Dario Radaelli

Dario - Guitar - was born on the 30th of October in 1980. He began playing bass when he was 14 years old in the band called "Haze" when he recorded his first demo with the song "Radio Plays Always" in the compilation "Avventure Soniche IV" by Fridge Records. After 1 year he discovered his feeling with the guitar and he began to learn this instrument by himself. During the highschool he played in his first metal band called "Obsidian" where he wrote a couple of songs. After few years the band broke up and he spent 2 years improving his skills and looking for a band. During this period he played with Marco Garau and Enrico Pistolese in a side project called "Eternal Light" but after just 2 meeting the project collapsed. In 2004 (after 2 years) Dario entered as guitarist in Derdian just 2 month before the recording of "New Era pt.1".

Salvatore Giordano

Salva was born on December 26th 1977 in Milan, Italy. His love for rock music started very soon when he began listening the Elvis Presley's albums of his father. When he was 10 bought his first 2 albums: The Final Countdown ( Europe ) and Seventh son of a seventh son ( Iron Maiden ). By that moment his life changed forever. He started to play drums at 14 years old in a punk-rock band passing by a skid row tribute and others cover bands playing Iron maiden, Helloween, Manowar …… In 1997 he Entered a new band called Orion ( soon changed the name in Diadema ) recording in March 1998 his first demo called Far from reality, one year later the band broken up. Some years later Salva came back in a thrash -core band of friends called Black fires but, still loving power symphonic metal, in 2002 joint Derdian…

Luciano Severgnini

Luciano "Lucio" Severgnini, born in Crema (Italy) in 1987. In 2001, due to his friends that forced him, He started playing bass guitar in the band "Toscobane". During the following years, Lucio studied and played diffrent style, like progressive metal. After 10 years the band broke up and in the meanwhile, Marco Garau contacted him via email and since 2011 he is the Derdian bass player.
